Every person seeks freedom.

Yet suffering appears whenever the moment is misread.

For thousands of years, this understanding was obscured by
tradition, culture, interpretation, and conceptual weight —
making true freedom seem distant, mystical, or accessible
only in rare contexts.

But it doesn’t have to be hard.
The path is simpler than imagined.

When clarity returns:

Seth Zhong

Born the son of a Christian pastor and school counsellor, both lifelong educators in their fields, Clavarna’s founder, Seth Zhong, had grown up in an academic environment since a young age.

Although he was fortunate to experience entrepreneurial success, being featured on publications like Tatler Malaysia before his 30s, spiritual inquiry has always remained the central theme of his life.

By 35, decades of theological immersion, a relentless reading habit, and exposure to the harmonious, multi-religious and cultural tapestry of Malaysia had allowed him to exhaustively study, experience, and perceive life through a diverse spectrum of faiths, philosophies, teachings, and discoveries, including:

Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, Advaita Vedanta or Nonduality, Tao, Confucianism, Quantum Physics, Metaphysics, and more.

The question is: Why this insatiable pursuit?
His motivation had always been:

“To understand how life works, and the best way to live — in this present moment.”

On 10th April 2025, at the age of 36, he finally recognized: “The journey has been completed. What had to be done has been done. There is nothing further.”

His search for the answer was finally able to come to an end through his path converging with an academic — a non-culturally or mystically influenced — deep dive into the direct scriptural teachings of Siddhartha Gautama, the founder of Buddhism.

Clavarna is the condensation of that answer for practical everyday life.

“It’s time for the clarity and freedom that the wisest across millennia have been pointing to, to become accessible — useful — in the present moment.
